What to do in Sacramento during Memorial Day?

My husband and I decided to spend the day that honors the fallen in battle around downtown Sacramento. I had a chance to take a look at the names of the many soldiers that died during battle - most of them under 25 years old-. Freedom is not free and these guys were brave men to fight for it.

We visited the Capitol and it's gorgeous garden, here are some shots of it. Needless to say it was a super hot day, as usual in sac town.
