Instead of cooking for hrs tomatoe sauce, I took my mom's advice and put them through the blender, they will go into the freezer -reserve for the winter stew or sauce-

I am harvesting during all the summer tomatoes, some zucchini, cucumbers, onions, garlic, etc.  My sweet neighbor ( a lot more experienced  gardener than me, I am a total newbie) gave a scalloped squash, and the funny fact is that where I come from they are called UFO squash, do you see the resemblance? I need a recipe for the UFO squash.
Durante todo el verano mi huerta a producido tomates, pepinos, cebollas, ajo, entre otras cosas. Mi buena vecina me ha obsequiado un zapallo OVNI, todavía no decido que hacer con él.

We call the UFO squah "patty pan" because they resemble the shape of dish in which patties are often made. I think you can probably cook them in the same was as the normal zucchini.
